Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a dependable Christmas driver responsible for delivering and picking up bell ringers and kettles along an assigned route. Timeliness, safety, and courteous service are essential as you support the holiday fundraising effort in the community.

You will maintain the vehicle, complete maintenance and mileage logs, communicate issues to your supervisor, and perform other duties as assigned, including seasonal driving tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route.
• Maintain vehicle(s), ensuring it is cleaned and prepared for next use.
• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle.
• Communicate any problems to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• At least 18 years old

Computer Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Basic computer knowledge

Certificates and Licenses

• Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
