The Substitute Teacher position at Cincinnati Classical Academy is a part-time, as-needed role with a flexible schedule based on school needs. It covers multiple grades across campuses and reports to the Assistant Head of School as assigned.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, a valid Ohio substitute license (or ability to obtain one), strong classroom management and communication skills, and a commitment to the school’s classical education mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Valid Ohio substitute teaching license or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Implements lesson plans provided by the teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Maintains a safe, orderly classroom conducive to learning.
• Manages classroom routines, procedures, and expectations.
• Supervises students during transitions, lunch, and other duties.
• Engages students with planned activities aligned to provided plans.
• Communicates progress and concerns to the supervising administrator.
