Job summary

Traders Point Christian Schools seeks a Head Varsity Baseball Coach who will provide visionary leadership for the program and develop student-athletes spiritually, academically, athletically, and personally. The role emphasizes Christ-centered leadership, culture building, and high-level program oversight.

The successful candidate will lead practices, mentor coaches, manage operations, and ensure alignment with departmental standards while upholding IHSAA regulations and school values.

Qualifications

• Committed to Christian mission and values of Traders Point Christian Schools.
• Previous successful baseball coaching at high school, collegiate, or club level.
• Proven leadership experience supervising and mentoring others.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for developing student-athletes on and off the field.
• Collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of baseball instruction, player development, and game management.
• Ability to complete all required background checks and coaching certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for the entire high school baseball program.
• Build a Christ-centered culture emphasizing accountability, discipline, teamwork, servant leadership, and competitive excellence.
• Develop a long-term plan for sustainable program growth and competitive success.
• Foster alignment between varsity, junior varsity, middle school, and youth initiatives where applicable.
• Invest in the spiritual, academic, athletic, leadership, and personal growth of each student-athlete.
• Plan and lead organized, developmentally appropriate practices.
• Teach baseball fundamentals, game strategy, and baseball IQ.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Manage equipment, scheduling, budgeting, and facilities.
