Job summary

Delaware County Christian School seeks an energetic, mission-driven Head Varsity Baseball Coach to lead our baseball program beginning in Spring 2027. The ideal candidate will coach with professionalism, disciple athletes, and foster sportsmanship, safety, and excellence in all activities.

Responsibilities include daily practices 3:00–5:30 p.m., roster development and game planning, travel with the team, and ongoing communication with families and the athletic department while upholding the

Qualifications

Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Aligned with the school’s Statement of Faith.
Able to articulate a Christian philosophy of athletics.
Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and strategy.
Ability to plan, structure, and lead practices.
Experience coaching at high school, college, or pro level preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct daily practices between 3:00–5:30 p.m.
Develop team rosters, create game plans, and ensure effective implementation.
Travel with the team and drive a school van to practices or games as needed.
Foster a positive, Christ-centered team culture and maintain open communication with athletes, families, and the athletic department.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
