The successful candidate will recruit and mentor coaches, design practice plans, and coordinate competitions while upholding the school’s mission to honor Christ in all aspects of athletics and education.

Qualifications

• Growing faith in Jesus Christ consistent with Covenant Christian Academy's Statement of Faith.
• Passion for mentoring student-athletes through Christian education.
• Demonstrated success coaching Track & Field at the middle school, high school, or collegiate level.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to recruit, lead, and develop assistant coaches.
• Commitment to building a culture of excellence rooted in faith and servant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Middle School and High School Track & Field program.
• Establish and sustain a Christ-centered culture aligned with the Cougar Way.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Build alignment across all levels of the program to ensure long-term athlete development.
• Foster meaningful relationships with student-athletes, families, and the school community.
