Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.
• Practicing Catholic preferred; must actively support the mission, ethos, and teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Valid state teaching credential or early childhood certification and completion of diocesan Safe Environment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Faith Formation: Lead age-appropriate prayers and Bible stories in a Christ-centered classroom.
• Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
• Classroom Management: Establish routines that promote independence and positive behavior.
• Parent & Community Engagement: Communicate student progress and milestones with families through conferences and newsletters.
• Professional: Collaborate with early childhood colleagues and participate in diocesan professional development.
