Job summary

His Mansion Ministries seeks a Counselor to join a Christ-centered care team, delivering individual and group counseling and leading program curricula. The role emphasizes spiritual formation and discipleship within a team of staff and other counselors.

The position entails modeling Christlike character, providing prayerful support, and participating in worship and ministry activities. Housing plus supplemental income comprise the hybrid compensation package.

Qualifications

• Christ-centered faith and strong character.
• Relationally focused and service-oriented approach.
• Collaborative, team-based care in a ministry setting.
• One to two years of counseling/ministry care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents individually to provide support, guidance, and feedback.
• Teach and facilitate classes and groups (spiritual formation, character formation, etc.).
• Facilitate group counseling exercises focused on relational development and emotional health.
• Collaborate with Care Team on Resident care, progress, and treatment planning.
• Participate in community life and ministry responsibilities as needed.
