Wharton Arts is seeking a Program Coordinator for the New Jersey Youth Chorus (NJYC). The role oversees day-to-day operations, rehearsals, scheduling, and logistics, reporting to the Founder and Director and supporting the Director of Chorus Administration.

The position forms part of a flexible single-year contract and focuses on ensuring smooth program experience, effective communication with families, and organized administrative processes for concerts, workshops, and tours.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing and maintaining program records, attendance, and documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work independently within established systems and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the Director of Chorus Administration in implementing program plans, calendar, and seasonal activities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including rehearsals, scheduling, and program logistics.
• Coordinate logistical needs with artistic staff to support rehearsals and performances.
• Ensure materials, spaces, and resources are prepared and available.
• Maintain, organize, distribute, collect and track sheet music, including filing, sorting, and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with music orders and returns.
• Support distribution and collection of uniforms.
• Ensure all program activities are well-organized, communicated, and executed efficiently.
