Qualifications

• Master's degree in Music: Choral Conducting, Music Education, Vocal Performance, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in choral conducting and vocal pedagogy.
• Experience directing choral ensembles and preparing students for public performance.
• Ability to teach students with varying levels of musical preparation and experience.
• Knowledge of choral literature spanning diverse styles, genres, and historical periods.
• Understanding of and commitment to community college mission and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person courses as scheduled.
• Assist in curriculum development through preparation of additional courses or labs.
• Participate in college governance, advisement, and committees.
• Collaborate with Music Department faculty to promote educational excellence.
• Engage in assessment of learning at classroom, course, departmental, and college levels.
