Twelve Tone Music School in Glenview, IL is seeking a part-time Piano and Voice Instructor to teach private and group piano classes. The role requires both piano and voice proficiency, with ability to follow a prewritten curriculum and engage students in a community-focused learning environment.

Schedule includes Mondays, Wednesdays, with potential Saturdays; hours run 3:00pm–8:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am–1:00pm on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a music background with piano and voice at intermediate/advanced levels.
• Some formal music training; higher degree in music, education and/or performing arts.
• Experience teaching private and small groups (4-5 students).
• Ability to follow a prewritten curriculum and school standards.
• Experience with music technology and LMS systems.
• Ability to teach up to 4 students alone.
• Willing to work showcases and events throughout the year.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Teach piano and voice lessons and group piano classes.
