Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate choral performances for Kingdom Kids, Joyful Sounds, and Choral Workshop.
• Teach vocal techniques and music theory to choir members.
• Select appropriate repertoire matching skill levels and goals.
• Organize and coordinate choral events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment encouraging collaboration and creativity.
• Stay current with trends in choral music and education, incorporating new methodologies.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain communication with students, parents, and community regarding performances.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate choral music into the broader curriculum.
• Plan and produce a yearly music theatre production including Joyful Sounds and Choral Workshop in spring.
