Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate in San Francisco is hiring Restaurant & Retail Associates to deliver exceptional service and create memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, prepare sundaes and shakes, and upsell products while handling transactions and maintaining displays.

The role requires high energy and reliability, with shifts that may extend beyond store hours. Prior retail or food service experience is a plus, and PTO, bonuses, and employee perks are offered.

Flexible Scheduling

• Store Hours:Mon–Fri: 10:00am – 9:00pm,Sat–Sun: 9:00am – 9:00pm
• Shifts may start/end up to 2 hours outside store hours for prep/closing
• Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays

What You’ll Do

As a Restaurant & Retail Associate, you’ll bring the brand to life by delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Prepare delicious treats including sundaes, shakes, and specialty items
• Recommend products and drive sales through upselling
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Stock, merchandise, and maintain product displays
• Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support both front-of-house service and back-of-house prep
