Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company in Chicago is hiring Retail Hourly Associates to merchandise, stock, and deliver outstanding guest service while selling our premium chocolate line. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with tips, and shifts may include Nights and Weekends.

The role requires high energy, reliability, and the ability to work with little supervision. You'll handle cash, assist customers, restock, and maintain clean displays while following food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Basic math and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work all shifts including Nights and Weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service.
• Handle cash and card transactions using company procedures.
• Assemble and stock proprietary retail items per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, signed, and correctly priced merchandise.
• Ensure fountain area and stockroom are organized and stocked.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Assist with gift-wrapping and up-sell opportunities.
