Job summary

Cameron's Coffee and Chocolates is seeking a passionate Chocolatier/Barista to craft chocolates, pastries, and confections in a warm shop setting. You will produce beautiful treats while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and delivering high-quality products to customers.

The role involves decorating, food safety compliance, and contributing to catering orders and special events in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Pastry preparation, baking, or confectionery production experience.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Skilled in cake decorating, pastry arts, and working with baked goods or chocolates.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, tempering machines, ovens, and knives safely.
• High-volume production experience in a bakery or food industry setting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent knife skills and recipe adherence.
• Customer service experience is beneficial for interacting with clients during special orders or retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble chocolates, pastries, baked goods, and confections following established recipes and quality standards.
• Decorate cakes and confections with precision using various cake decorating techniques.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support high-volume production.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Package finished products attractively for retail sale or catering events while ensuring proper food handling practices.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as pastry preparation, cake decorating, and other food industry-related duties.
• Support the team during catering events or special orders by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
