Job summary

Lindt USA is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up and run production lines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You will monitor machine performance, participate in problem-solving, and perform basic maintenance as needed.

The role involves daily production tracking, changeovers, and collaboration with Facilities to maintain logs and improve efficiencies. Requires high school diploma and ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong operating knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to participate in group discussions.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery and perform basic maintenance.
• Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned machines to meet daily production goals.
• Coordinate product changeovers to maximize line efficiencies.
• Monitor machine and material flow; report problems promptly.
• Participate in 5 Why analysis to identify root causes.
• Assist with basic preventative maintenance tasks.
• Record production run quantities, materials used, and downtime in the system.
• Maintain material stock levels to meet daily requirements.
• Keep accurate machine logs and communicate downtime/resolutions.
• Attend daily/weekly technical meetings to discuss productivity and safety.
