Job summary

Russell Stover Chocolates is seeking a Production Lead for the Kitchen on 2nd shift in Corsicana, TX. You will guide a team through chocolate production from start to finish, ensuring only the finest quality and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will train and support staff, maintain accurate SAP records, and drive production goals while upholding GMP guidelines and food safety practices in a climate-controlled plant.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and understand rules, tape measures, scales and thermometers.
• Ability to read and understand product specifications and recognize deviations.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift to meet cleaning requirements.
• Strong analytical abilities and good math skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to speak/read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Directing, monitoring, assisting and training employees assigned to a specific area, line or team per Supervisor's instructions.
• Communicating with and delegating tasks to team members.
• Operating machinery, equipment and tools safely and proficiently.
• Maintaining records and performing all activities required of other team members.
• Performing clean-up activities as assigned.
• Adhering to GMP and food safety standards.
• Completing FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Reporting food safety hazards or deviations to the supervisor.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of the Food Safety Culture.
