Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. in Eddystone, PA seeks an Associate for material handling and packaging operations. You will move materials, support packaging lines, and ensure GMP and HACCP compliance while collaborating with the production team.

Experience with SAP and basic MS Office is beneficial. Expect 12-hour shifts with potential OT and a focus on zero incidents and accuracy in records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy; SAP exposure and MS Office knowledge beneficial.
• Able to understand and communicate in English.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Inventory and record-keeping understanding.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; stand for 12-hour shifts.
• Exposure to cocoa dust and high-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute safe, compliant material handling and production/packaging operations.
• Maintain product quality and food safety (GMP, HACCP, regulatory compliance).
• Support end-to-end supply chain operations (receiving → processing → packaging → shipping).
• Operate forklifts, move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; minimize movement errors.
• Cross-functional support and process improvement responsibilities as they arise.
• Record material movements (SAP) and maintain logs; ensure chain-of-custody.
• Monitor metal detectors, magnets, sieves, and filters; perform QA handoffs.
• Daily/per shipment QA checks and first-line quality verification.
