Position Summary

Your role at The Joint Chiropractic will consist of becoming a trusted advisor and leader in your office and community, helping to advance our mission of making routine chiropractic care more affordable and accessible in every community we serve. You will work in a high‑volume practice where all examinations are performed efficiently and effectively, enabling you to serve a larger patient base safely. This position supports both veteran and new doctors in an environment focused on constant learning and providing the best care.

Opportunity

Part‑time hourly role with potential to transition to full‑time across multiple clinics.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients; review x‑rays as indicated.
  • Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine conditions.
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations of the body to correct musculoskeletal issues.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended treatment course.
  • Maintain accurate case histories and patient records, ensuring timely and precise documentation.
  • Obtain and record patients’ medical histories; arrange diagnostic x‑rays when medically necessary; analyze x‑rays to locate sources of difficulty and rule out fractures or disease.
  • Provide high‑volume daily chiropractic adjustments using diversified techniques and drop tables.
  • Build and maintain positive doctor‑patient relationships.
  • Sell membership packages and provide consultations, exams, and treatment plans for maintenance visits.
  • Enter chiropractic visit notes into electronic records software.
  • Manage clinic staff as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active state chiropractic license (or ability to obtain one prior to starting).
  • Eligibility for malpractice insurance.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient‑first attitude.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced walk‑in clinic environment.
  • Weekend availability (at least some) is a plus.
  • New graduates encouraged; existing staff will be supported for success.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and neurology.
  • In‑depth knowledge of musculoskeletal system disorders and treatments.
  • Proficiency in performing spinal adjustments and other chiropractic techniques.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and clearly explain treatment plans.
  • Active listening skills to understand patient concerns and symptoms.
  • Critical thinking to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications to support patient health.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in chiropractic care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain state licensure.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Salary Range: $45.00 – $60.00 hourly.
  • Additional bonus potential: up to $3,000/month.
  • Health insurance: eligible for group plans after 60 days of employment.
  • Paid vacation: accrued based on years of service (e.g., up to 80 hours for hourly managers with less than five years).
  • 401(k) retirement plan participation.
  • Paid Sick and Safe Leave: accrue one hour per 40 hours worked, unlimited annual accrual.
