Location: 832 NE 223rd Avenue, Wood Village, OR 97060

Salary Range: $45.00 – $60.00 per hour

Bonus Potential: up to $3,000 per month

Position Summary

As a doctor at The Joint Chiropractic, you will provide high-volume, efficient chiropractic care in a supportive, franchise-based clinic environment. You will serve patients, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, and promote ongoing wellness through education and membership programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
  • Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine musculoskeletal and spine‑related conditions.
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations of the body to correct musculoskeletal dysfunction.
  • Educate patients on the quality‑of‑life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and enter chiropractic visit notes into electronic notes software.
  • Arrange for diagnostic x‑rays when medically necessary and analyze x‑rays to locate sources of patient difficulties and rule out fractures or diseases.
  • Build positive doctor‑patient relationships and provide high‑quality care and advice to each patient.
  • Sell membership packages and provide consultation, exams, and treatment plans for chiropractic maintenance visits.
  • Provide a high volume of chiropractic adjustments daily, primarily utilizing diversified adjustments and drop tables.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of regular chiropractic maintenance.
  • Manage clinic staff when necessary.

  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and neurology.
  • In‑depth knowledge of musculoskeletal system disorders and treatments.
  • Proficiency in performing spinal adjustments and other chiropractic techniques.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Strong interpersonal and active‑listening skills to build rapport with patients and explain treatment plans clearly.
  • Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations, medical history, and diagnostic tests.
  • Critical thinking skills to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications to support patient health.
  • Ability to educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and ergonomic practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in chiropractic care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain state licensure.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Health insurance eligibility for chiropractors and above after 60 days of employment.
  • Performance‑based incentives and commissions related to the sale of membership packages.
  • Group medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for full‑time employees (30+ hours/week) starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

  • Accrued paid vacation per hour worked (up to 120 hours for managers with less than five years of service).
  • Oregon Sick Leave (OSL) and Paid Leave Oregon (PLO) eligibility.
