Northeast College of Health Sciences is seeking a Part-Time Professional Tutor for the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Long Island Branch Campus. The tutor provides in-person or virtual tutoring support, accommodating up to 20 hours per week with flexible evening/weekend availability.

The ideal candidate is a Chiropractic degree graduate who has passed NBEs, demonstrates strong study skills, and can work independently or with faculty to reinforce course content.

Qualifications

• Chiropractic degree graduate with NBEs passed; GPA 3.25+.
• Experience tutoring or teaching is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsabilités

• Meet students in 1:1 or small groups and support tutoring sessions.
• Provide content-based learning activities and study strategies.
• Document attendance and tutoring outcomes; use WCOnline/D2L as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty for instruction clarification and guidance.
• Maintain professional demeanor and handle confidential information.
