United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley in California is seeking a Chiropractic Assistant to join our state‑of‑the‑art clinics. The role supports chiropractors by handling administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CMA certification, Lifesaving certification, and a CA license, with at least two years in healthcare; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certification/Diploma from an accredited school
• Valid Lifesaving Certification
• Possess a valid CA License
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (prefer chiropractic)

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt medical support; promotes a smooth patient flow; collects and records data accurately; maintains order of exam rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Supports the Chiropractor and health center by completing general tasks both on the clinical and office function tasks.
• Provides basic education and information to patients, making sure patients’ questions are answered and anxieties alleviated.
• Helps ensure patients and families receive the care they need when they need it.
• Communicates with supervisor and staff; works flexible or extended hours when necessary.
• Participates in health center in‑services and meetings; respects others’ ideas.
• Abides by Rules of Confidentiality.
