Job summary

Northeast College of Health Sciences on Long Island seeks an Assistant Dean for Chiropractic Education to provide leadership, direction, supervision and accountability for the Long Island Campus Doctor of Chiropractic Program. The incumbent will organize, direct, evaluate and supervise campus staff and collaborate with adjunct faculty and students on-site.

Responsibilities include instructional leadership, course instruction, student support, scheduling, equipment planning, accreditation

Qualifications

• Earned D.C., Ph.D., or terminal degree in a related field.
• If D.C., licensed to practice in NYS or eligible to obtain license for teaching clinical subjects.
• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in clinical practice, preferred.
• Leadership experience in higher education or related field, preferred.
• Experience with accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains a safe, effective learning climate aligned with College policies.
• Directs student communication and supports classes, registration, and operations.
• Collaborates with campus community to support Long Island Campus operations.
• Oversees scheduling, faculty, and enrollment procedures.
• Ensures accreditation standards alignment and data support.
• Supervises administrative staff and scheduling of faculty.
• Supports campus events and campus safety plans.
