Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Hardware Chips Programs Manager in San Francisco to translate our ML acceleration hardware roadmap into actionable plans, coordinating across technical teams, partners, and vendors. You will own design and scheduling, balance dependencies, and drive delivery of chip projects for our data-center platforms.

You will partner with AI researchers, hardware engineers, and suppliers to navigate end-to-end program management from concept through production, while maintaining schedule

Qualifications

• Experience as a technical program manager for data center hardware products.
• Knowledge of end-to-end hardware program management from concept to production.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and implementation planning of ML acceleration hardware across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Lead planning and scheduling of chip hardware designs with strategic partners and vendors.
