Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Hardware Chips Programs Manager to drive the hardware roadmap for ML acceleration. Based in San Francisco, CA, the role supports a hybrid work model with relocation assistance for new employees.

You will manage design and implementation planning, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners. You will lead scheduling with strategic partners, marshal internal resources, and ensure effective collaboration across vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technical program manager for data center hardware products (server, GPU, TPU, networking, storage).
• Knowledge of end-to-end system program management from concept, design, production to deployment in data centers.
• Experience with System SW programs through NPI.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and implementation planning of ML acceleration hardware across stakeholders and vendors.
• Lead planning and scheduling of chip hardware designs with strategic partners and vendors.
• Coordinate and marshal internal resources and communication for efficient interaction with partners and vendors.
