Job Title: RN Pediatrics - Outpatient Department

Location: Chinle, AZ

Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or full-time)

Start Date: Jan 2025

Shift Schedule: 8 & 12-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Experience: 36 months of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty
• License: Must hold a current, valid RN license from any state
• Certification: AHA - BLS, ACLS, PALS

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver individualized, goal-oriented care to pediatric patients
• Utilize scientific, psychosocial, and cultural principles to meet the holistic needs of Native American patients
• Recognize disease processes, complications, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and manage side effects or complications
• Stay updated on childhood immunizations and provide patient education
• Interpret medical procedures and implement suitable nursing interventions
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and engage respectfully with patients and families
