Job summary

NSA’s Linguists, known as MDLAs, support SIGINT missions by translating and analyzing foreign language materials. LADP and direct hire paths offer intensive training and multiple operational tours across offices.

Applicants must meet ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening Chinese and have a qualifying degree or relevant experience. Salary ranges and benefits are based on location and experience, with a full-time schedule and standard DCIPS terms.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR 2/2 reading/listening in the target language (Chinese).
• Degree in any field is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, translate, transcribe foreign language materials.
• Research and synthesize information to support SIGINT missions.
• Mentor and coach other Language Analysts as needed.
• Provide timely and accurate customer service and reporting.
