Job summary

NSA seeks Linguists, Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), to support the SIGINT mission across the IC. The LADP program offers intensive, accelerated training with multiple operational tours and rotations, designed to build core analytic competencies.

Strong Chinese language skills and the ability to translate, transcribe, and analyze language data are essential. Analysts will work to deliver timely assessments, collaborate with internal and external customers, and mentor others.

Qualifications

• ILR reading/listening level 2/2 in the target language (Chinese)
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields
• Diverse education backgrounds acceptable for entry or development levels
• Able to complete language proficiency testing within four weeks of link release

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, translate foreign language materials.
• Provide written and oral assessments with analytic insights.
• Collaborate with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC.
• Mentor and coach other language analysts as needed.
• Maintain currency on SIGINT mission developments and tools.
