Job summary

NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), analyze foreign language materials, translate key information, and contribute to SIGINT missions. The LADP offers an accelerated path with rotations and formal training, potentially leading to direct hires supporting analytic offices.

Candidates must have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening, a degree in any field, and 1+ year of relevant experience in language work or intelligence analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in language work or intelligence analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key foreign language information to support NSA SIGINT.
• Research cultures and geopolitical context to inform assessments.
• Apply analytic techniques to synthesize large volumes of data from diverse sources.
• Craft written and oral assessments providing unique operational insights.
• Work independently and collaborate with analysts across the Intelligence Community.
