Job summary

NSA/CSS seeks Linguists (MDLAs) to analyze foreign language materials for SIGINT, translating and interpreting data for analysts and policymakers. Successful candidates join the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or are hired directly into analytic offices, with multiple operational tours and formal training.

Applicants must hold ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for the targeted language and have a degree in any field.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language required.
• A degree in any field acceptable.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis preferred.
• LADP or direct hire into analytic missions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.

• Mentor and coach other Language Analysts.
• Ensure the technical health of the mission and use internal tools.
