Job summary

NSA seeks a Multidisciplined Language Analyst (MDLA) to support its SIGINT mission. The role focuses on translation, transcription, and analysis of foreign language materials, with opportunities for LADP or direct hiring into analytic offices.

Applicants should have ILR 2/2 proficiency, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The position is full-time, based at NSA locations in MD/HI/UT, with standard 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR 2/2 reading and listening in the target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; relevant experience required.
• Experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related language work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, translate foreign language materials relevant to SIGINT.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC.
• Prepare reports and assessments based on analytic findings.
• Mentor and collaborate with other Language Analysts as needed.
• Maintain high standards of language quality control.
