Job summary

NSA is seeking Linguists, MDLAs, to support SIGINT operations. Roles may be in LADP or direct hire for analytic mission offices. Candidates must demonstrate ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for Chinese and have relevant experience or education.

Responsibilities include translating, transcribing, and analyzing material to provide insights for policymakers and partners. Selected applicants will undergo rigorous testing and training within the LADP framework or direct placement into analytic roles,

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening in the target language.
• Degree requirements: any field acceptable with related experience.
• Experience or leadership roles in intelligence analysis or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key foreign language information for policymakers.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to inform SIGINT analysis.
• Develop creative solutions to synthesize large data volumes from multiple sources.
• Produce written and oral assessments with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with analysts across organizations within the IC.
