Job summary

Restaurant Associates seeks an experienced Chef de Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, to lead the development, preparation, and execution of an elevated Chinese culinary program. This role serves as the culinary expert for all Chinese menu offerings, bringing deep knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine, regional specialties, and refined presentation standards.

Working from a state-of-the-art production kitchen, you will create restaurant-quality Chinese cuisine distributed to a corporate dining location,

Qualifications

• Experience preparing authentic Chinese cuisine in fine-dining restaurants, luxury hotels, premium catering, or upscale culinary operations.
• Strong knowledge of Cantonese and Hong Kong-style cuisine; familiarity with Sichuan, Hunan, and regional Chinese specialties is valued.
• Advanced skills in wok cookery, braising, steaming, sauce development, and regional Chinese techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Chinese menu production, ensuring authenticity and high culinary quality.
• Prepare and execute restaurant-quality Chinese dishes in a high-volume environment while maintaining elevated presentation.
• Develop seasonal menus and signature dishes in collaboration with culinary leadership.
• Train and mentor the culinary team in authentic Chinese cooking methods and quality standards.
• Maintain excellence in food presentation, taste, and guest experience.
