Compass Group USA, through Restaurant Associates, is seeking a Chinese Chef de Cuisine to lead the Chinese culinary program in Miami, FL. You will oversee the preparation and execution of authentic Chinese dishes, develop daily menus, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on concept evolution.

The role focuses on high-volume production, catering events, and maintaining presentation, flavor, and technique standards while driving cost controls and quality across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine required.
• Ability to manage high-volume production and catering events.
• Strong knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines (Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan).
• Proficient in menu planning and development with marketing collaboration.
• Must be computer literate (MS Office) and email.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and execution of Chinese menu items to ensure quality.
• Assist in developing daily menus with traditional and innovative options.
• Supervise hourly culinary staff as needed.
• Support inventory management and ordering.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu development.
• Produce and execute catering events.
