Job summary

CACI is seeking a Cryptologic Language Training Developer Level 1 - Chinese to design, develop, and document language and domain-specific training materials. You will work with language instructors and other developers to create blended delivery materials and practical evaluations for student mastery.

Responsibilities include clarifying requirements, researching resources, and developing assessments while leveraging tools like Audacity, Centra, Blackboard and SumTotal.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Language, Area Studies, Education, Education Technology, ISD or related discipline.
• Native Chinese with ILR level 4 in reading/listening/speaking and English ILR level 2, or native English with ILR level 3 in Chinese; documented in last 3 years.
• Minimum five years of experience including three years SIGINT or Intelligence Community as language analyst or instructor.
• Two years within last 6 years developing, documenting and updating language training materials following ISD.
• If no B.A./B.S., 9 years of related work experience in language education, instructional design or language analysis.
• One year experience typing in English and foreign language fonts.
• One year experience in synchronous/asynchronous ISD and web-based/distance learning technologies (Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal).

Responsibilities

• Clarify and document customer requirements, training objectives and language levels.
• Assist in prioritization of training development requirements.
• Research language resources for authentic content (classified and unclassified).
• Develop training materials including transcription, translation and analysis of exercises.
• Collaborate with instructors and developers in design and documentation of materials.
• Use tools such as Audacity, Adobe C5S, and Adobe Premier to create blended language learning materials.
• Collaborate with SIGINT experts and instructors to obtain language materials.
• Develop practical evaluations to test learning objectives mastery.
• Identify learning applications and tools to enhance training delivery.
