Job Description:

Coordinate and drive transformation and technology activities specific to China; communicate prioritized needs to the IT organization; ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work in alignment with the global team to deliver the IT services and solutions in support of our 3M China business. This includes cyber and compliance, Applications, Data and Analytics, and Infrastructure.
2. Understand and consolidate overall Greater China (GCO) regional strategy, project delivery, and services.
3. Manage and evaluate China IT resource needs.
4. Drive China business transformation programs and bring tangible business value.
5. Interact with internal and external parties, including regulators, external vendors, and country business leaders.
6. Collaborate with ITOC regarding prioritization of strategies, projects, resourcing, etc.
7. Partner with Business Leadership on prioritization of transformation efforts.

Qualifications:

• MBA or relevant Masters degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
• Experience working in a Multinational organization balancing the country needs with global standards.
• Strong leadership experience in a cross-functional role.
• Proven track record of leading transformation initiatives and managing complex IT infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of cyber-security principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Strong “business analyst” skills to translate business needs into IT strategies.
• Ability to periodically work with the Central Time zone in the USA.
