Done Right Chimney is hiring a Chimney & Hearth Apprentice for hands-on, year-round field work with paid training provided. No prior chimney experience required, and you will learn inspections, sweeping, repairs, liners, venting, and light masonry while working with a local family-owned team.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, safety, and real skills development on ladders, roofs, and customer sites, with the opportunity to grow into a skilled trade.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Comfortable with physical outdoor work year-round.
• Willing to learn and take feedback.
• Safety-minded and able to follow procedures.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Detail-oriented and capable of proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with chimney inspections and sweeping.
• Help with repairs, liners, caps, chase covers, and venting.
• Assist with light masonry work such as repointing and waterproofing.
• Support wood, pellet, gas, and electric stove or insert work.
• Carry tools, ladders, materials, and equipment.
• Set up, clean up, and maintain safe job sites.
• Work on ladders, scaffolding, rooftops as needed.
• Take photos and use job management software for reporting.
• Communicate respectfully with technicians and customers.
• Learn chimney systems over time.
