Job summary

CHIM CHIMNEY is seeking a Chimney Apprentice to train alongside experienced technicians and develop skilled trades expertise. You will learn the trade from the ground up, with mentorship and growth opportunities, while earning competitive pay.

No chimney experience is required; we can teach you the trade. If you have construction experience and a willingness to learn, we will provide hands-on training and support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, masonry, HVAC, carpentry, or another skilled trade.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background and illegal drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with chimney installations, repairs, relining, and maintenance.
• Loading, unloading, and preparing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Learning proper installation techniques and industry best practices.
• Working safely on ladders, rooftops, and elevated work areas.
• Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional.
• Providing outstanding customer service while representing the company.
• Completing job documentation and communicating progress with your team.
• Following all company safety policies, including proper PPE and fall protection.
