Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Chiller Test Engineer in Junction City, OR to lead performance and reliability testing for air- and water-cooled chillers. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure tests meet design specs and industry standards.

The role emphasizes test planning, data analysis, and documentation, with opportunities to influence product validation and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, thermal systems, testing, or labs.
• Experience with test instrumentation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for air- and water-cooled chillers.
• Perform performance, reliability, and environmental testing of HVAC equipment.
• Operate lab equipment, data acquisition systems, and controls for tests.
• Analyze test data and report conclusions and recommendations.
• Coordinate schedules and support product development timelines.
• Assist with regulatory and certification testing (AHRI, ASHRAE, UL, CE).
