Zusammenfassung

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for the Energy Utilities Technician - Journey in Chilled Water Production. This on-site role maintains air- and water-cooled chillers, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and troubleshoots control and mechanical problems to keep campus cooling reliable.

Work hours are primarily 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday, with on-call duties and possible after-hours in emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification required.
• Experience with troubleshooting control systems and electrical components is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on air- and water-cooled chillers.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of cooling systems.
• Assist with inspections and teardowns of chillers as needed.
