Job summary

Smart Family of Cooling Products is seeking a Chiller Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chillers and their ancillary equipment. The role involves routine maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts to keep systems running efficiently.

The position requires working with industrial refrigeration systems, adhering to safety standards, and may involve up to 15% overtime per year as directed by management. Outdoor work conditions are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Three years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on chiller equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing chiller equipment.
• Repair or replace parts on existing chiller equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems including refrigerant handling, instrumentation, control valves, motors, motor controls, motor switch gear, VFDs, soft-starts, pumps, exchangers, and refrigeration controllers.
• Comply with company and industry safety standards.
• Overtime up to 15% as directed by client/management.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
