Job summary

Texas AirSystems in the Richmond, VA area is seeking an experienced Chiller Service Technician to perform inspections and maintenance on industrial chillers and related equipment. You will collaborate with project managers, service coordinators, and customers to ensure quality service.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, calibration, parts procurement, and timely reporting. You should be able to work some nights or weekends, maintain documentation, and communicate clearly with customers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 training.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• 5+ years in chiller/HVAC maintenance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Diagnose and repair defects in electronic, mechanical, and electrical components and obtain replacement parts as needed.
• Oversee installation and operation of mechanical systems.
• Lead training material development for chiller/HVAC maintenance.
• Be available for on-call nights or weekends on a rotating basis.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and safety equipment; keep documentation up to date.
