Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is recruiting a Chill Shift Lead for our Severnside site. You will develop and empower your people to form a high performing team, delivering targets and continuous improvement by coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver development plans through LMS for the team.
• Create succession pathways within the organisation.
• Demonstrate high-level problem solving and facilitation.
• Visit stations to observe issues and implement fixes.
• Coach front-line members to empower problem solving.
• Apply PDCA to drive real-time improvements.
• Deliver OE initiatives aligned to OGSM objectives.
• Encourage identification of waste and turn opportunities into OE projects.
• Manage performance reviews, development and coaching.
• Collaborate with other teams to improve the business.
• Observe health and safety and take corrective actions.

We are currently recruiting for a Chill Shift Lead

We are recruiting for a Chill Shift Lead to join us at our Muller Dairy in Severnside. In this role you will develop and empower our people creating a high performing team. Enabling the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Full Time/Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Location: Severnside

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Creating and delivering development plans through LMS for own team aligned to OGSM
• Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation
• High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills
• Go, look, see issues by visiting the workstation when called upon
• Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems
• Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to 100 year fix in real time
• Enabling team to create and deliver OE opportunities aligned to OGSM
• Encourages others to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own OE projects
• Owns and delivers OE initiatives and is recognised for these
• Drives OE opportunities throughout the team
• Supports team to demonstrate OE contribution through PDP process
• Looks and encourages others to find waste' opportunities in everything we do
• People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of the team and dealing with employee relations issues
• Collaboratively work with other teams to improve our business
• Health and Safety commitment demonstrated through go, look, see and put in place corrective actions
