Job summary

City of North Myrtle Beach is hiring a part-time childcare assistant for the City’s daycare program. You will coordinate and lead activities for children aged six months through 10 years, ensuring a safe and engaging environment during evenings (3:30pm-7:30pm) and Saturday mornings (8am-12pm).

The role requires a minimum age of 16, current CPR/First Aid certification, and some experience with children. You will assist in daily cleaning and upkeep of the child watch area and respond courteously

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Some experience working with children.

Respond to public needs in a courteous manner and report comments/complaints regarding facility, staff or patrons to supervisor. Assist in day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of child watch area.

Must be available to work evenings 3:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday mornings 8am-12pm. Hours will be 12-16 hours a week.Must be 16 years of age. Current certification in Community CPR/PR and First Aid. Some experience working with children.
