Job summary

The Mary Campbell Center seeks a C&Y Program Manager to plan, coordinate, implement and supervise a dynamic program for children with varying ages and developmental abilities. You will promote learning, social interaction, and independence while upholding MCC's guiding principles.

Required are a strong character, 3+ years in disability-focused programs, supervisory experience, and excellent communication. The role involves budgeting, staffing, and community engagement to advance MCC's mission.

Qualifications

• Be a person of high character with a positive attitude and compassion for participants.
• Bachelor's degree as specified (preferred).
• At least three years' experience developing and implementing programs for children with disabilities.
• Demonstrate creativity in program development.
• Supervisory experience and ability to train staff and volunteers.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and oversee the Children and Youth program.
• Develop activities to promote learning, social interaction and independence.
• Supervise departmental staff and prepare staff work schedules.
• Lead as Special Olympics Coach when applicable.
• Collaborate on marketing strategies to raise community awareness of the program.
• Develop and monitor the departmental budget and billing log.
