Job Opportunity: Sports Coach for Kids

Amazing Athletes, a premier sports-based enrichment program for children, is expanding in the Kansas City Metro area. We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our coaching team. This part-time role involves teaching the fundamentals of 10 different sports to children aged 2.5 to 6 years old. Candidates should have a passion for sports and fitness and enjoy working with children. Our goal is to make a positive impact and deliver exceptional experiences.

We require a minimum commitment of 1 year, with the potential for long-term development within our growing company. Our classes are held in various locations including Kansas City, Leawood, Prairie Village, Overland Park, Olathe, and Lee's Summit. The position offers a flexible schedule, primarily during mornings (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) and afternoons (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Available to start late March or early April
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Pass state and FBI background checks (including DUI/DWI)
• Commitment to at least 12 months
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Ability to maintain energy and enthusiasm during classes
• Background in sports/fitness preferred (e.g., athletics, dance, martial arts, gymnastics)
• Experience with children aged 2.5 - 6 years preferred (e.g., teacher, camp counselor)
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
