SOCCER STARS COACH:

OUR COMPANY:
Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will allow us to create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills, and increase youth activity across the board.

THE HISTORY:
Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and has been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

THE POSITION:
We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach, who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone interested in pursuing early childhood education or child development.

New Coaches can work 5-15 classes a week and can earn from $40 per hour. Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success. They employ a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress-free. Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success. Coaches are open-minded, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement through regular training and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.

THE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE:
Most classes are held during after-school hours and weekends. The ideal candidate would have availability during the following times: Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 and weekends 9:00-12:00.

LOCATION:
Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to 45 minutes to reach class locations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Available to start ASAP
• Reliable transportation, as classes are at different locations
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass both state and FBI background checks (including DUI/DWI)
• Offer a 12-month commitment
• Attendance and punctuality are essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Understanding of responsibilities when in charge of children
• Ability to build strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents, and children
• Ability to teach classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner (training provided)
• Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout each class
• Maintain class rosters
• Passion for soccer, sports, and fitness
• Background in fitness preferred (athletics, sports, dance, martial arts, gymnastics, etc.)
• Experience working with children aged 2.5 - 6 preferred (teacher, substitute, camp counselor)
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
