Children's Specialized Hospital, part of RWJBarnabas Health, Hamilton, NJ, seeks a Primary Care Pediatrician to deliver comprehensive pediatric primary care in a pediatric-focused setting.

The role emphasizes preventive care, coordination with specialists, and development of individualized care plans, with opportunities for academic collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong commitment to family-centered care for children with special healthcare needs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and care coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, wellness visits, and acute illness management for children with special healthcare needs.
• Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive treatment.

• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Participate in shared call coverage to ensure continuity of patient care.

• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
