Job summary

Children's Specialized Hospital, part of RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Primary Care Pediatrician to join a nationally recognized team providing comprehensive, family-centered care for children with special healthcare needs.

The role spans infancy to age 21 in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, with a focus on coordinated treatment plans, preventive care, and care coordination in a patient- and family-centered medical home.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
• BLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong commitment to family-centered care for children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for infants to age 21.
• Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop individualized care plans for medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation per standards.
• Participate in shared call coverage for continuity of care.
• Contribute to quality improvement, education, and evidence-based practice.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, and teams.
