Connetquot Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic Library Assistant to join our Children and Family Services Department. This role supports engaging programs, connects families with library resources, and helps create a welcoming environment for children and caregivers in Bohemia, NY. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree.

Schedule includes Days, Afternoons, Friday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a monthly Saturday/Sunday rotation, with compensation at $26 per hour.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A master's degree in Library Science and a New York State Public Librarian Certificate are not required.

• Assist with planning, preparing, and presenting programs and events for children from infancy through school age
