Job summary

The Little Gym of Silver Spring is seeking enthusiastic individuals to teach classes and create a fun learning environment for children aged 4 months to 12 years. Responsibilities include delivering excellent membership service and ensuring each class is engaging and supportive.

Candidates should possess strong teaching skills and a playful attitude, with training provided in our unique methodology. Competitive salary rates from $10.00 to $14.00 per hour are offered, along with additional benefits.

The Little Gym is a global enrichment center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. This role involves teaching classes, creating a supportive learning environment, and delivering excellent membership service.

Responsibilities

• Introduce children to the fun of education and play within The Little Gym’s unique learning environment.
• Teach classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching methodology—training will be provided.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and membership experience, treating members like family.
• Create a warm, fun, and educational environment for the children in each class.
• Approach each class and each child as if it’s their first day—every week.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with children and able to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and energy.
• Strong teaching and communicative skills, with a background in child development, physical education, or gymnastics being an advantage.
• Excellent customer service orientation, capable of building positive relationships with both children and parents.
• Ability to remain playful and engaged while also maintaining professionalism and focus during work hours.
• Servant‑leader mindset: enjoy making others feel good and laying out support for classroom families.

Compensation: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
